New Home Update

Moving is rough. I am settled into my new home (minus half the unpacking left) in Roseville, CA and am very happy to get back to coaching guys. Buying this home was a huge hassle, but everything worked out into the end.

...except for when the internet installer guy drilled four holes into my house INTO MY HOUSE. Through the wall...

Oh, hey, that's fine internet guy, I didn't just buy this home less than a week ago or anything.

Apart from that, everything seems nice. The neighborhood is very calm and the people we've met so far are very nice. (We = me, my gf, and 2 dogs if you didn't know).

There are definitely a lot of expenses with moving in though, man oh man. New blinds, changing locks, pest spray to be safe for dogs, minor household repairs, some new furniture items (ship), and some other rando stuff. It sucks very much as a home owner because reality hits you: responsibility. If something breaks, it's on you. sigh.

SNGProtege is doing good though. I am extremely pleased with some of the effort these guys are putting in. It's so nice to teach and witness others learn. They don't just memorize it, they understand it. It's an awesome feeling.

For the record, he didn't win right away. He lost and broke even. But he kept working. Even though the results weren't there at first, he played fantastic using the new style he was/is learning. His red line was awesome, green line not. Finally, results came. I'm very proud of his success.
