I just played a set of half 16s/27s. -250. Nice start for the day. It's the first time I've ever - in 40,000 games - tilt called my stack off. I called with 32o in my final game vs. someone b/c I was so mad. Here are some stupid things that happened to me. I shove 1200 utg 8 handed 75/150 and a "reg" calls me with TT in MP (probably not good) but it's not awful. T comes obv, but I think this is a fundamental fold. People get so caught up in shove/shove/shove that they fail to even get the most fundamental spots down where your calling range is literally like <5 hands. I raised KK 2.5x utg at 100 200 7 handed with 2500 and some guy reshoves utg+2 for 1700 and 77 (nice) and flops 77J so gg nh. Basically every pair on pair action (ie - I have QQ+ and they have 77- lol) got crushed. It's funny though, cause when Fat Afghan beats me (standard bvb shove he has J6 I have AQ) I don't feel bad at all cause I respect him like crazy. I'm like, wow great play sir gg. But this one guy, who was loading a bunch of games. I don't get it. I am, dare I say it, intimidated??? I'm intimidated by 27s? I was intimidated by 16s a year ago and now lol at me being an idiot. But this guy, I look him up, he's not up much at all, I'm like ok let's go so I load a bunch with him. This guy, is a 27 REG? I hate that term reg b/c it's taking on the meaning of "a good player" instead of it's real meaning- um, "a guy who plays REGularly." This guy opens 2.5x at 50/100 on the bubble with 1500 utg (ok, not horrible), and then calls a 3b to 1500 from the 5k stack sb when the next closest stack to him is 2500. What do you think a 3b to 1500 has right here? Certainly a range that obliterates 55. That's ok, 55>JJ. Strangely enough, this is the only 27 I cashed in. A few hands later at 75/150, this happens...

A6o! Ok, let's assume some possible ranges. If villain shoves 10%/15%/20% the respective edges are -5.76/-4.57/-3.44. If we remove QQ+AKs from his shoving range, the respective edges are still -5.56/-4.30/-3.14. I'd guess the true range of a 12bb shove here AS DEFAULT for a RANDOM (assuming he's not an habitual limper) is somewhere around 22+AT+KQ+. Enjoy your A6 call sir, if you wonder why you can't make as much money as "you should" or "because jokerstars is rigged," maybe you should just burn your wallet instead. It's the same process but takes about 40 minutes less time on average.
But seriously, why do I get mad at losing? It's not like I can't pay my rent all of a sudden or any other bills. Nothing substantial will alter in my life. It's just an electronic number that drops a bit when things go bad. It's seriously retarded to let poker affect you like this. It's a stupid card game. When it all comes down to it, poker is like on the bottom of my life food chain. I don't give a crap about it. But sadly, I still let it F with me during session. Outside of playing, I really don't give a crap about poker at all. Hey, at least I don't talk about it in public...
I'll leave you with this hand that had me baffled.
