So, nice and brief.
1. I failed my weight loss bet (see, this is why you should be against me). Even though I lost $140, I lost 8lbs (out of the 15). I'm very happy with myself even though I lost money. Sweet!
2. Here are the names of the people who bet against me:
mayuri-sama
entim
ba11sdeep
tomdaddy2
wwe_freak_88
chuckpalms
wixmonster
gyl2009
abarone68
dirty.brasil
It's my $735 vs their $1,470. I have all the names/bet amounts saved and - of course - I promise to pay out when I lose this thing.
3. I will unblock chat so if anybody wants to be the railbird antagonist, I welcome it.
4. Have a Happy New Year, don't drink too hard, and have a great 2010! I should be starting around 8am (pacific time).
So long '09...

January Prop Bet
I've officially decided I wanna do this. I just need motivation again. I feel stagnant, dull, dry. I mentioned the idea before, but hopefully I'd like to make it more official. $10,000 profit at the 9 man 16s in January. I'm not a crazy/wild bettor like some of these amazing sng players. I'm not looking to hype it up with huge bbv brags either. Just a friendly, innocent bet to motivate me for the new year. I don't bet thousands cause I'm not a freak like Boku lolzz. To sum it up, here is what I'm looking for...
- I will bet up to $1,000 of my money to win $2,000.
- 2-1 odds in my favor (pretty nice odds compared to what I've seen in other bets). Your $20 to win my $10.
- You need to bet a minimum of $20. See...now this is friendly afterall:).
- I'm hoping to have at least $1,000 of bets against me (to win my $500).
If you wanna place a bet, PM me on 2+2 or comment on this page. Since this is a friendly bet, I'm hoping we don't have to "escrow" or whatever word these high stake ballers use. I'm hoping we can just do a simple honesty policy if possible.

New Set Up!
I've done some upgrading recently to prepare for the new year. Not to mention my old desk was crap. I bought a new monitor to try this dual thing - pretty cool, but hard to get used to. I also got a new chair but it is not comfortable at all. I rather sit in a pink chair if it made my back feel good. What I'm stoked about though is the new desk. But, jeez, it took - count them - FIVE hours to put together. It was ridiculous. Put me on life tilt. Here are some pics though. You can see my rockin a 4 handed 45 man lolz.

Where I Worked Before I Played Poker *OMG I'M A PANSY*
So the last few days have been pretty crazy. I've looked my fear straight in the eye and went for it. My fear? New games. I'm always afraid of new games. I think I can't beat them or I'm not good enough. For those of you who don't know, I used to play non turbos. Biggest waste of time ever. I've played, hmmm...maybe 15k of them. YIKES! Like 9k 20s and 3k 30s and then others when I started playing way in the beginning. I was petrified of 9 man turbos. Never had the balls. Every time I dabbled in them, I got my ass handed to me. I remember in January 08 (before even playing seriously) plotting a plan to quit my job WORKING AT AN AFTER SCHOOL DAY CARE OMFG I SAID IT IT'S OUT IN THE OPEN. Why? To play pokahz! I didn't wanna believe it was a day care. I just thought, hey, it's an after school program, that's it. Well, when you graduate from a University (UCDAVIS) and make a whopping $12/hr working in a classroom...it kinda takes a toll on you. It was pathetic. I was in denial. Yes, I worked in a day care. This is actually the first time I'm admitting it to myself. Sheesh.
So on that fateful day in January I remember pulling out a piece of paper and plotting my numbers. 3000 6.50s a month. .60/gm for 10%ish roi. Boom. $1800/mo. I was making $950/mo at this job part time. Ya, I can do it I thought. So I remember loading my first set of 24 6.50s on my 14 inch dell laptop TILED (overlap though) with ZERO hot keys, NO time bank clicker, and NO IDEA what to shove in any spot. Seriously, zero clue. And I wanted to be a "pro." lol, it's laughable. Got crushed ldo. Killed. Eventually though, at the end of April I quit my job after having the best wkend ever of like +800. At this time I was playing $20+2s. After I quit, I made less money in 3 months than I would have from that old job. I was worried. So I started playing harder, practicing non turbos. Started doing 20s/30s. But never turbos. I dreamed of 16s, but was freaked of them. For those who don't know, I never played 16s for real until Feb 1st this yr when I made the switch permanently. I don't think I had a decent grasp on them till May. Woot, overcame my fear of turbos. I worked crazy hard though. Plastered ranges in my room like Michael Scolfield plotting his brother's escape in Prison Break. Seriously, it was that crazy.
So my new fear I'm trying to conquer is the 180s. For the last 3 days I've played them hard. Finally won my first today. I wanna get good at these so bad. Just, randoms galore. It's nice not to be with envision every bubble I ever play. I envision a sng without envision, k thx. But I thought it was worth mentioning, that the final hand of the 180 made me shit myself. It was like beating the Yankees. Unbeatable.

Lolmisclickaments
Just played a weird set. Bunch of $16 18s, some $16 9s, and some $6/12 45s. And, ya, the 180 I busted with 2 pr to runner GS draw but whatever. Obviously in the few 9 mans I was HU vs. sippin and lost both. Shout out to his penis drawings in chat. The best stuff was 45s, I made like 7 cashes - all min. obviously. Except for a few. Since I never play them, they are way more exciting than normal. So obv. when I am HU with 60k chips at 1.5k.3k blinds and the guy has 1.5bbs, it pisses me off when they come back to win it in like 5-6 hands. The best hand of the day, and possibly the year, came with a misclick. I made it and thought "SHIT!" Then I looked who it was and shit myself even more. I've never played against him before, and I don't know if he knows who I am, but this was pretty funny.

Happy December!
OMFG I LOVE NEW MONTHS! It's like the refreshing atmosphere of the past feeling like it is actually in the past, and the peacefulness of knowing that run good is more likely to be in the future, holla! I feel better than Peter when he took ecstasy.
With that said, I've played 2 sets so far this month. And quite frankly, I don't give a shit about my results. They might have been good? I dnno. I'm gonna try and go as long as I can without checking, just so I don't think about them. But I guess it's the December peace of mind that keeps me relaxed. Meh, it'll probably wear out in a couple days. Probably cause I'm running bad - JOGGING bad. This December weight loss challenge is officially in swing. 31 days, 15 lbs, 300 bucks, $20/lb. I could lose weight and STILL lose money, ugh. My official starting weight is 183lbs. So hello Mr. 168 here I come. Hopefully. I went on my first jog in a while and lmao I'm way out of shape. Too much sitting in front of my computer. At least it's semi-worth it? I hope so. Hopefully, the exercise will boost my energy level so I can play more.
Also, maybe MAYBE, I'm considering a January Prop Bet. I haven't made this public or anything. Mostly because I'm just not a fan of those big arrogant BBV threads where guys are like "I'm so good bet against me! etc" I'm not a big bettor, so if I do bet it would be like 500-1000 max of my own money and that's a lot for me. Even 1k makes me hurl a little inside. I've been thinking about this from about August/September time, but I'm still not sure. Disclaimer: This has nothing to do with simplicity8's bet in anyway. I've always wanted to make a run at $10k profit from 16s in one month. It's hell. In May I tried 10k overall profit in one month and hit it. But it took 4k games AND I ran pretty good. I hit just under 7k profit in the month from 16s & 6s. I dnno, this sounds exciting, but I'm not sure yet. There has to be a build up to it though if a bet does go down. Cause I have to be amped and not just jump into it. SUGGESTIONS/OPINIONS?
