Weirdest Set Ever

So I just played a nice little losing set of -140ish. It felt like it lasted 3 hours. Seriously. Maybe it's cause I cashed in 2 so quickly (as the 3rd place guy who hadn't played a hand yet obv.), and 1 of them was a huge lengthy deepstack 3 handed game that stole my concentration. God I hate those. This is why I left non-turbos, sheesh. Anyway, 1 hand really stood out in this set. It's a really funny hand, but I think it delivers a good message. Everyone says over and over again, "shove any two they don't call you wide enough." This is bull shit. And who the heck is this arbitrary they? People call me/you wide all the time. I mean, this hand is clearly an awful call, but it still shows that you can't shove any two just because "that's how you win at sngs."

His call is -2.91 even vs. a 100% range, -5.31 vs 50%, and -5.45 vs 25% (weird, you'd think it be like -8 by now). I mean, ya we will always shove our Ax here. Any no brain, non limptard donkey can do this play everytime. But what's interesting is that if he calls 87off (which is top 70% in wiz) we can only shove top 30. And now our cliche "shove atc" results in 32off being -3.95. Or maybe I shove it cause the other 2 guys who folded are my friends and I'm applying 17th level collusion by dishing out equity to them:). But, heck, I assume that he is calling much less than 70 but calling 87off because omg some guy on TV said connectors were good.

...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he is a losing player. Glitlr to you, sir.

WTF

So lately I haven't been playing so much. More time studying, lots of coaching, so it makes for some good times considering I'm running like Minnesota Vikings Legend Gale Sayers.

But, meh, no big deal. I just got my new avatar today. I waited about 6.5 days compared to the 5 it's suppose to be. Star's Support is so ridiculously awesome. I had started my set and had maybe 10 games up. During this time I emailed them with a quick "yo where is my new avatar just checking up it's been too long since I updated it" rant. The avatar literally popped up within 1 minute after I sent that email. Ridiculous. It came up while I was talking to Gazillion for the first time in a while. Dude is so sick, and said he is leaving soon for the Spacegravy sickness-in-Costa-Rica gig in a few weeks. Isn't Costa Rica one of those places that's better in the summer? I dnno. Enjoy it in November, son. Gl to you man. Plz game select, thx. :)

Ship it to Stewie and his pubes.

10/27/09 - Dazed and Confused

What's up, everybody? So hopefully creating a blog will inspire me to play more, not give up, etc. A lot of you have probably seen me around and thought, "damn, I really hate this guy." Seriously, I think so many people hate playing against me but whatever man. Maybe it's the 3am time, or the disappointment of running like complete ass for October, but I really feel the need to vent a bit. Here is my October graph.

One thing to point out is that 6 games ($96) was lost due to a Stars server crash. What sucked even more was it happened while I was recording a video for a coaching session. So good bye to those 30 minutes I spent too. Overall, it's really disappointing, especially cause I've probably studied 15 hours this month. Just today I spent about 4 hours studying with Mayuri-Sama, and it was incredible. Shortly after I had a nice healthy session, got inspired. But then I just lost it all back. It's really just up and down month that won't end. I feel like Peter when he watched the 3 Stooges while it orbited around his stomach. (starts at :33)

Maybe it was all the previous months I had. Starting in May, I started running pretty good. A lot of people said "oh Glitlr isn't good he's just high volume player." Well, 1) I started playing turbos in Febuary LOL and 2) I ran at 12% for 10k+ games so boomshakalaka. I felt as good as Quagmire did when he heard about the void in Lois' life.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eiQcGOXCEo Man, these recordings are awful footage haha, only ones I could find though. Don't know why the link won't be clickable, but whatever. Classic Family Guy footage is only a copy-paste away. Anyway, I guess sleep now and more sngs tomorrow.
